Co-op · Boss Battle
Blocktrix goes co-op. Two or more players share one enemy: the Overseer, a boss that soaks three shields, cracks open a hull, fights back with garbage and specials, speeds up as it weakens, and periodically barrages the whole squad at once. Stack fast, clear big, and don't let it wipe you.
Raid Mode in action — the squad hammers the Overseer's shields while it fights back.
A normal match is every field for itself. A raid points the whole room at one target.
The garbage your line clears would normally send to rivals is redirected into damage on the Overseer instead. Your offensive specials auto-aim it too — no targeting needed.
You're not attacking a field. Nothing you do alters the Overseer's board — its shields and hull are the target, shown as bars on its tower at the top of the screen.
Three shields stand between you and the hull. Damage fills the current shield; overflow rolls to the next — but never into the hull until all three are down.
The Overseer rains garbage on the squad and casts specials at you. Top out and you're not done — you spectate and cheer until the squad wins or wipes.
The boss scales to your squad size, so a raid runs about the same length whether you're two or six. As its hull drops it shifts through three phases — and gets meaner in each.
All three shields up. Focus fire — big clears (doubles, triples, tetrises) pour the most damage in. The hull is untouchable until the last shield falls.
Shields broken, hull exposed. The boss drops pieces faster and, once its hull is at half or below, enrages: it turns every cast into a squad-wide hit and speeds up again.
The final push. The Overseer is at its fastest and most aggressive — hold the squad together, keep clearing, and land the killshot before it buries anyone left standing.
Starting 90 seconds in and every minute after, the boss opens a 10-second barrage window: every special it casts hits the whole squad at once. Its tower shakes while it's live — that's your warning to brace and dig.
Survive it: keep a Shield or Clear-Line banked for the window, and don't over-stack right before the shake starts.
Once its shields are down and the hull hits 50%, the Overseer enrages — faster drops plus squad-wide pressure until it dies.
Beat it: this is a damage race. Stop playing safe and push every clear into the hull.
Between barrages it still garbages the squad and fires single-target specials. Raid rooms dial down the nastiest disruptors — gravity, nuke and left-gravity come up less often — so it stays a fair fight.
Hold on: a downed teammate isn't out — the raid only ends when the last squad member falls (a wipe) or the hull hits zero.
If every squad member tops out, it's a wipe — the Overseer stands. Drop the hull to zero and the squad clears the raid together.
Spectators help: topped-out players watch the surviving squad live, so a raid stays tense to the last field.
Every clear is worth a measurable chunk of the boss, and a cleared raid pays the whole squad on the channel winlist.
When the squad wins, every member banks points equal to the damage they personally dealt divided by 100 (rounded up) — so the harder you hit, the more you earn. Land the finishing blow and you pocket a +200 damage bonus first. Clear it and you also earn the Overseer's Bane achievement. It all counts toward your channel winlist and profile.
You don't have to wait for a crowd — fill the squad with AI teammates and start whenever you like.
/raidfillType it as the room host to add AI squadmates so you can raid right now. They pull their weight against the boss — and clear out automatically when the last human leaves.
/raidrulesThe full in-game rundown, in plain language — no jargon. (/raidhelp and /raid work too.)
An optional ready-check starts the raid the moment the squad's set, so nobody's waiting on the host to press Start.
Raid Mode lives on two channels on the official server. Grab the client, connect to

The flagship raid channel — the Overseer with the full arsenal.
A second raid room so a full squad always has somewhere to muster.
